For all I was reading it was only 5.9 and as for the duration I felt it at my location for half a minute only.

Duration of earthquake may have been shorter than I reported; my observations based on my condo shaking (am on a high floor)... and the building probably continued swaying for a while after the quake itself ended.
Was a 'rolling' shock, not a violent shudder. Chandelier lights were swaying maybe 20cm, blinds were rattling in the windows.

reports said it was intensity 3 in Metro manila. i felt it. initially i thought the Tripel i was drinking had snuck up on me. until i saw ripples in the the glass.
