Where are you guys working now? Another shop? We're headed to Kura Lodge in late June; we were last on Curacao at SW in 2007.

I doubt anything is happening on that property.

It was pretty much gutted after it closed.

You would likely have to knock it down and start over to have anything.

I was there in May of 08. It was a great resort with a lot of potential. Could not understand giving away alcohol though. Most "all-inclusive" resorts exclude the alcohol and make money. Really hard to hear that it was trashed. I kept hoping it would reopen.

My wife and I were in Curacao 1st week of November 2010 and stayed at Lodge Kura Hulana, dived with Ocean Encounters West. One day, during very rough seas, we landed at Sunset Waters and were transported by car back to the Lodge. Sunset Waters was thoroughly trashed and vandalized. The resort appears entirely nonrecoverable but it certainly is in a great location.
