I have been "lurking" this website for a month. Just got certified on the 4th of this month! This site is great. Cant wait to do some more diving.:lotsalove:

Welcome to SB

thanks all for the welcoming! Doc ABWA is where i got my cert. I would like to go back when the viz. is better. Couldnt see much when i was there.

Don't sweat the bad vis. Remember if you can dive safely in bad vis, then you can dive safely anywhere. Also it makes you appreciate the great visibility when you go elsewhere for vacations.

On another note if your used to diving in 15ft and below visibility you wont be disappointed when you go someplace like Cozumel and they say the vis is poor when its 40-60 ft or better.

Congrats! The wife and i got spoiled when we s
did ow cert. and had great viz, but told
her we can dive more if we dove closer to home and not the keys.

Again congrats on the cert, and hope to see you in the water.

Funny you should mention cozumel, Gary me and hubby are going in July. We to ST Andrews jetties a week ago and viz was a little better there. But I had trouble staying down.
