no, it's after spending a week in maui.
then we're using island air to get to the big island.
however, now that we know - we would've paid the extra to use Charlie99's suggestion.
 
Aloha Air allows two 50# check in and a carry on < 40#. They are all jet service, no turbo props. Flew from Hon. to Kona 20 min.
 
Aloha Airlines and Aloha Island Air are two seperate airlines - Island Air used to be the commuter side of Aloha, till they went independent about 18 months ago. Island air flies only Dash 8's. Though they are much larger than the Twin Otters they used to use till about 10 years ago :wink:
