This is an interesting addition, a carbide glass breaker which may be an issue with dry gloves

With a ring cutter and glass breaker it seems more like for paramedic/EMS use.

Looks like it was designed for the EMT/1st responder crowd and not the typical disposable (offering to Dave Jones) type.

So the glass breaker makes sense - grinder should fix that.

ETA: @Eric802 bet me to it.
 
Cool -- but I am curious to see what it will look like in six months of saltwater use . . .
