DIR- GUE Why are non-GUE divers so interested in what GUE does?

The old ways were much funnier and more interesting the than todays new quarry commandos. People who used to talk sheit online were at least cave divers with real life experience, not people that just passed an entry level hobby diver class 6 month ago.

What if there was a special tool that diver could carry underwater, and it could omit photons, that could be perceived by the other divers while interactive with the matter on surfaces?
We could even use it for communication or for displaying our position.

Ridiculous stuff, that was from Star Treck - they had photon torpedos -it was all fantasy stuff.

If GUE Charters a full boat, do they only allow GUE divers, GUE equipment configs and GUE compliance?

News flash, GUE doesnt charter boats anymore than PADI or SSI or TDI charter boats.

When a group like GUE Seattle charters a boat or takes a camping trip to Lake Crescent they have no problem filling it with like-minded people so why should they bother to advertise outside their group to someone like you who just wants to show up as a contrarian?

What in the world ever gave you the impression that I would have any interest at all in showing up to any GUE event...? In the alternative, I even actually made it clear in a previous post on this thread that I'd be totally fine having a GUE team on my boat here in the PAC NW...... as long as they weren't assholes...... and I could be assured that they were qualified to dive cold water, low vis conditions...

As for charters......I have never heard of a PADI, SSI or TDI only charter...... but maybe they happen. Who knows? Who cares?

Anyway, I have absolutely no issue with you diving with your "club" of like minded folks and hopefully you'll all have some actual fun while at it.

PS.....I've never camped at Lake Crescent...... but on return hunting trips from Neah we almost always make a stop there for a high pressure fresh water gear rinse..... Way easier than cleaning all the gear once home. Only dove the Warren wreck once, on AIR... in my younger days.......so been there, done that...... and won't do it again!! I'm just a rec diver now and doing it just for fun....
