Yea, unless this is an new corporate-wide policy, that is not going to sit well with at least some of their dealer network. I've heard scuttlebutt that there have been increased threats of excommunication for allowing the sale of kits to the great unwashed.

The XTX 50/100/200 all use the same parts kits
DGX is big enough they can insist on this, given the volume of product they move.
But I'm assuming the catch is that the kits are only for the models they sell.
Some kits will have cross applicability, but not all.
That's okay. Every little thing that nudges the DIY needle is helpful.
