The longer ocean crossings would my body time to absorb the excess Tequilla.

It's a 12-hour overnight crossing so not so bad. If you are prone to seasickness, then I agree it's not a good option.

It's a chance of seeing a few sharks vs. seeing literally hundreds of sharks on every dive. If you say that is comparative, you are entitled to that opinion.
