We have not been able to transfer our most recent dives (have successfully transferred them multiple times in the past). We do have an Uwatec infrared dongle, as well as another from a different brand. Scubatrak installed on a PC laptop running Windows 10. What do we do now?...
Use Subsurface to convert your Scubapro log data into software that is actually supported. Subsurface is free.

I realize this is an old thread but its a problem I am just recently faced with. Using a Win 10 PC with the exact same IR device. Doesn't recognize the device and I am getting the "!" in the orange triangle on Device Manager. I am wondering what version of Win 10 you are using. Supposedly there were some versions of Win 10 that supported this device. I am currently on version "1903". From what I have learned MicroSoft removed the IRDA stack with Win 10 but replaced it and then removed it again. This device works just fine with a Win 7 computer I am using.

I ran into the same problem a few months ago. I found the App to activate the IRdA device.
(1) Right Click on the Windows icon lower left corner of your screen.
(2) Click on Settings
(3) Click on Apps in the right column
(4) Click on Optional Features
(5) Click on the gray box with the "+" sign in it (Add a Feature)
(6) Scroll down the list of languages. IRdA should be right beneath "Hebrew" and click on it. It is a small file and should load immediately. You should be set at that point.

It worked for me on several different Win10 machines. YMMV.

Hi,
I have always used Smarttrak with my Galileo but now diving with the G2, I need to use Logtrak rather. - Is this correct? Logtrak seems news and more advanced but is there a way to transfer dives from smarttrak into Logtrak?

Many thanks,
Nick
Hi guys.
I too have used a Gallileo SOL for many years and changed over to the Aqualung i750. I managed to transfer my SmartTRAK dives over to Divelog this way:
In SmartTRAK, I selected Export, and where it gives you the option of 'Save As', I selected .zxu and saved the log. Then in Divelog, I selected import and imported the .zxu file that I had saved from SmartTRAK. It transferred the dives over, including the graph and alarm info and listed them as Gallileo under the PDC column. Alot of dives were doubled up and I had to delete the doubled up ones individually, but at least I got 650 dives transferred over to Divelog.
Hope this helps.

Hi guys, newbie here so please be gentle....

Fiancee used a borrowed G2 computer when we dived Roatan recently. Only problem was the date/time of the borrowed G2 was incorrect, so her dives from 23 Dec to 28 Dec were logged as 14 May through 19 May and that's how LogTrak downloaded them.

Is there a user friendly way to download the dives again into another software, edit the dates & times and send them back to LogTrac?

Sorry to revive an old thread - I'm trying to move on from Logtrak after my Aladin Sport Matrix died on me yesterday.
i have exported a logbook with 1174 dives in Scubapro's .asd format (I also have the .xls which I converted to xml), and would like to fuse this with some other dives I have on a Shearwater cloud.
I work in diving and started logging again since I got the Aladin, and would like to continue. It would be fun to add the Shearwater dives to the ones i clocked on the Spro.

I'm on a Mac, so I'm trying out Subsurface but it crashes when i try to import the asd log. Is there anything I can try to fix this?
I'm trying to see if I can import the xls or xml logbook in some software. The xls or xml do not seem to import in subsurface (nothing happens)

Thanks for your help

b

Depending on what the xml looks like, Subsurface might be able to read that. If you use Excel or LibreOffice to convert the .xls, Subsurface will be able to import that. You can email me the .asd file to helling@atdotde.de and I can try to figure out the origin of the crash.

Hi Atdotde, and a big thank you. It would be great if I could import the data in Subsurface.
I'll send you the .asd and original .xls export from Logtrak - I'd done the .xml conversion with excel, and was wondering if it's the amount of dives which is causing the crash, but I couldn't get it to work with an export of my two last dives.

This one does Smart Trak files: https://thetheoreticaldiver.org/rch-cgi-bin/smtk2ssrf.pl
The Subsurface guys are helpful. I converted a Smart Trak log to Mac-Dive a lot of years ago and never looked back. I used Dive Log for part of the process, and I think @morejanus helped with the original conversion.
Thank you Chris. From what I understand, the Logtrak exports are in a format Scubapro calls TravelTrak, not sure if this is the same as the legacy Smarttrak format.
Will be in touch

Cheers

I just imported my smarttrak into subsurface and use that now for dive imports from my old memomouse. Not sure if subsurface directly supports the G2, but it has pretty wide support.
