Since, it was a topic of conversation during the trip, I thought I would let everyone know the great news. I just received notification of my next assignment. Looks like I will be enjoying the diving in the South Pacific for the next few years. I received my number 1 location choice of Japan!!!

When is the next one?😉🧜‍♀️

Both my wife and I are really hoping that your leg is healing well, Jim.
Me too. Oh how I wish.
I was 12+ weeks post surgery when I fractured my tibia through an unused screw hole from the original surgery back in April, this on our last scheduled day of diving.
I will learn this coming Wed just where we stand, when the new cast is removed, and more Xrays are taken.
Thank you. Fingers crossed.
This will pass, but it is turning out to be a much longer road to recovery than I expected.

One very late comment just from the top of my mind. This was my first Invasion experience and I really enjoyed all of it. I brought a book to read in case I had a free moment but didn't get to read a single page out of it (which says a lot about being occupied with more interesting activities). Everyone was doing, talking, thinking and planning scuba related activities so even at dinner and in the bar we could discuss (if we chose to) scuba and related experiences. This was like a seminar/trade convention of sorts. Heck, if we added a few more slide shows some of us could have earned professional industry related training hours (OK just a joke). Thank you everyone for organizing, diving, attending, allowing me to ask and poke at your gear, sharing your experience and making this a tremendously rewarding experience.
