Expended to 46 countries including Hong Kong. Still need to book one night at SHA and take a PCR test.
Good luck.

I can visit the Kingdom without too much of restriction from 1st Nov, one night at an SHA hotel and wait for the result of the PCR test, and then FREE(-ve result) to travel nearly everywhere.
But I will require to pay for 3 wks of quarantine when I return to HK after the trip!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.
What is the point of having full vaccination?

Will be watching this thread.
I'm planning on a 7 day trip to Patong Beach mid December if there aren't too many hoops to jump through and hopefully the nightlife resumes after 11pm.

Phuket is still opened!

Which is more dangerous, the road or the people working/passing in the area?

Phuket sandbox is still possible, so for Phuket no quarantine required.
But we still need to stay within the compound of SHA+ hotel for 7 days, before we can roam around the rest of Thailand. I plan to do a 3-week liveaboard trip around Phuket, Similan and Surin islands next month. I have to add a week to stay in a SHA+ hotel in Phuket for doing nothing before I can get on the boat. Now I need to stay in Thailand for the whole month of February. Dang!
