There will be no quarantine for fully vaccinated air travellers from five countries from Nov 1, and destinations in more provinces will also be opened to foreign tourists.

Conditions for no-quarantine arrivals
The government on Friday outlined conditions for quarantine-free entry from Nov 1 for arrivals by air from 46 countries, which also apply to people who recently left Thailand for those countries.
Expended to 46 countries including Hong Kong. Still need to book one night at SHA and take a PCR test.

I can visit the Kingdom without too much of restriction from 1st Nov, one night at an SHA hotel and wait for the result of the PCR test, and then FREE(-ve result) to travel nearly everywhere.
But I will require to pay for 3 wks of quarantine when I return to HK after the trip!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

But we still need to stay within the compound of SHA+ hotel for 7 days, before we can roam around the rest of Thailand. I plan to do a 3-week liveaboard trip around Phuket, Similan and Surin islands next month. I have to add a week to stay in a SHA+ hotel in Phuket for doing nothing before I can get on the boat. Now I need to stay in Thailand for the whole month of February. Dang!
I was planning on a 14 day stay in Feb, but now cancelling. Likely to spend my money in another country. Especially, as the U.K. is about to stop all quarantine restrictions on return.
