I would love to see GPS supported on the next generation of Shearwater computers. It works really well on the Garmin Descent for recording dive entries & exits.
Ditto, but I suspect it is already part of the "Teric II". Shearwater is innovative; I can hardly wait to see what else is in their next model.

Any details, official or otherwise, on the upcoming models?

My ideal computer would be a Peregrine + AI + GPS. I bought the Perdix because I want AI, but I don't do any trimix diving. I just need it for nitrox.

A Teric 2 with GPS would be nice, but I prefer the larger screens which come with the Peregrine and Perdix.

I wear a Perdix AI on my left wrist and a Descent mk1 on my right. I believe companies should go with their strengths.

This computer already exists.
Ratio Dive Computers - Choose a model

I have followed Ratio computers for several years

Only the iX3M [GPS} line has GPS. the iDive Sport, iDive Color, and iX3M [Pro} do not. Looks like GPS costs $150. You must opt for the Tech+ model in each line to get custom GFs, the Easy and Deep models only have presets. I have always wondered why they opted to use Buhlmann ZH-L16B rather than 16C. The light coded transmitter has always struck me as odd, they do make a neoprene cover to hide it.

It doesn't have any value to me, but I can understand why other people would like it. For me it would just consume battery power and increase cost. Hopefully not by much if they did it.
