I tried searching, but I keep getting an error. What is the best, or at least a good, Balanced P-Valve? I’m looking to add one to my Fusion Drysuit over the winter.

Halcyon, Light Monkey..

Light monkey tinkle are the ones I have.

I second learn proper shaving techniques.

The medical adhesive removal wipes are a great thing.

I use siTech trigon on both of my suits, the are very low profile and work perfectly so long as you don’t flush them with to much pressure, best pee valve available with no internal rot prone parts, you have to treat it right but even if you mess it up all you have to do is unscrew it and make sure the mushroom valve is seated properly..

Light Monkey Tinkle

How well it (or any of them really) install in a Fusion might be a different story. Weird suit construction.

My history with them. Started with a Light Monkey balanced, the bolt you take out. worked. Wasn't happy about keeping track of the bolt. Got a SiTech tigon on the next suit. Leaked, recalled, new parts installed, still leaked. A strong flow would wash the balancing valve off its seat. Even with recalled parts I had leaks. Testing the valve over a sink I got leaks. Ended up sealing shut the mushroom valve and put the balancing check valve package from the Light Monkey in to fix it. Then that suit died from failed material and was replaced. Light Monkey Tinkle this time. Simple turn knob. The thing just works. 3rd try is a charm. The first time I can say "I would get that again".

With a fusion, I would recommend the Dive Rite balanced valve. You will install it in the inner liner only, anything with a knob or bolt is a pain to open through the skin.

I have used both Halcyon and LM. Both have been excellent. You will need other stuff too. Search for my posts on the tinkle valve from a while ago and it will give some more items you will most likely need.
