Yes, sorry. S620Ti is what I meant. Wanted the 2 gauge console as a backup I’m case something goes wrong with my Teric while on vacation. I live right outside of New Orleans -and mainly dive on vacation once or twice a year. But, I plan to drive over to Florida more to dive there and hopefully do some spearfishing around rigs in the gulf out of Grand Isle, LA in the future.

Seal Sports in Mandeville is a Shearwater dealer so you can the transmitter from them. I don’t think they are a Scubapro dealer anymore. They use to carry apex and I think maybe now Atomic as well.

Harry’s dive shop in Metairie is a Scuba pro dealer and Atomic as well, they are not a Shearwater dealer but they probably carry some other brand that uses the same transmitter.

There is also a dive shop in Slidell “Coral reef ?” And another on the West Bank Tremento’s ? I have not been either so don’t know what either have.

Thanks. I went to Harry’s today.

So, your LDS is a ScubaPro dealer....

Well, you have made choices presented here that are in the "upper tier" of $$. Not a thing wrong with that if you want to spend the money. ScubaPro is very good regulators, but isn't aligned with your opening idea of not overspending.
I thought the parts would cost more than they do. I’m good with the price range for these parts.

It’s not parts. It’s a reg set. Parts would be to repair them, not the reg set itself.

Even if money is NOT an issue but has the shop explain why Mk25 is better than Mk17 to you?
I would love to hear the answer.
The only difference is the turret on Mk25. Forget about piston vs diaphragm topic.

Shop makes more from selling expensive item. Period.

If I walk in to a Apeks dealer and ask for regulator package. The most likely recommendation will be XTX200 instead of XTX50 for the same reason.
I do not find the turret on Apeks DST better than Apeks DS4 in routing of the hoses. And I have both regs.

If I remember correctly, it has a swivel turret.

thats a tiny SPG!
How good are your eyes? If you still have good eyesight feel free to steal my setup. An HP hose of your preferred length, a pony bottle style button SPG, trident part number S137, and your compatible transmitter.

@bacb, for your reference, here’s my 16 years old regulator set (Scubapro MK25 1st stage & S600 2nd stage) with Teric transmitter & SPG attached to MK25 HP ports. They work like a charm. I almost made 1000 (989 to date) dives with that regulators
