Hi,

Has anyone made an adapter to use a mag guage please and if so can you post a photo or two. We have trouble with postage here and normally I have stuff posted elsewhere and visitors bring it but few are curently traveling.

Thanks

I use either the ScubaPro one (think it was made for the Air2), the factory one from ScubaTools that came with the mag, or a custom one made for my double hose regs from an old mouthpiece and check valves (others have posted pics of this here on SB, probably not what you are looking for).

One thing I use on all my regs is the ScubaPro removable mouthpiece clips. Makes life easier for me to test.

YMMV

This is the one I worked up.
Some latex tubing that will pres-fit inside my mouthpieces - 3/4" I.D x 1/8 Wall x 1" O.D Latex Natural Tubing Heavy Duty Surgical Rubber: amazon.com/gp/product/B0796RHMZG
Blue fitting is from Home depot and is a barb to NPT which was drilled and tapped on the side for the brass 1/8" barb-to 1/4" NPT-M which then goes to the Mag gauge.

The white stopper, fitting and tubing at the end is for a vacuum pump for carefully finding the cracking pressure. It is just press fit in, and can be popped out for oral induction.

So the side fitted tube is connected to the gauge, the pressure used to crack it is then from the end fitting, which you are using a vac pump on but you could just suck? Thanks

In a pinch I carved one out of a potato.

Total hijack, sorry.

But why use a magnahelix vs. a digital diferential manometer?
