You’ll want to hit BHB. I missed that one unfortunately. I bit off more than I could chew and couldn’t work that stop into the trip. I’d recommend LBTS.

The nice thing about BHB and LBTS is that they’re in the vicinity of a wide variety of boat diving options.

My next trip down, I’ll likely do 3-4 days in/around LBTS and Pompano Beach and 2-3 days diving Venice Beach (shark teeth dives). You can dive off the beach or use a charter.

What is LBTS?

If you hit SEFL don’t miss Jupiter (Jupiter Scuba Diving/Kyalami or Jupiter Dive Ctr) & Boynton Beach (Starfish or Loggerhead preferred). For Palm Beach I too prefer Pura Vida but Walkers & Narcosis are also top notch.

Pompano is great for wrecks. South FL Dive HQ is highly recommended.

Shore diving hit BHB or LBTS. BHB is my favorite. I’m there once or twice a month.

Ft. Lauderdale has some nice wrecks & Tenaco Towers are awesome. Sea Experience is who I use in Lauderdale.

As mentioned reefs are better up in Palm Beach County. Broward County has the wrecks plus LBTS.

Thanks everyone. It’s last minute and we’re going to try to fit thanksgiving week in, if we can find a nice RV resort open

Spent the weekend diving with Scubatyme in Pompano, under new ownership, alot nicer boat to get on and off from (newton 36), then some of the other boats in Pompano. They have some captains that are experienced/tech divers too, ex PDC guys, so they really know whats going on. Good option for wreck diving and reef drift dives.

Do you know who now owns it by chance?

He was out dealing with paperwork but I dont know him. One of the good changes is they are putting a schedule up on their website now, which is something that keeps me away from dive ops when they dont.
I tried looking at their web site a few days ago and nothing was there. Today I looked at it, and although there's a schedule posted and their address, there's no phone number or "contact us" link. Hopefully, they'll get more organized soon so I can reach out before booking.
