George having a PHD. from Scripps Instutute of Oceangraphy was one great guy to ask questions about what I was seeing. After all most of my diving took place off the California Channel Islands.Channel Islands Collection – Bob Evans Photography Loved that warm water and less gear. Plus it was so clear to take some great images. This one of Dr. Lewbel recording another great spot for Station 9 Gorgonian. Will share the underwater guide soon. (copyright Bob Evans) Once we both had selected up to 15 Stations, George went to town drilling into the soft limestone sea floor and securing with a marine expoxy a numbered card. all this back in 1979.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Bob, although it's quite a torture watching them while being locked up at home... :(

Well JMBL, I think this is the NEW GREEN DEAL. No cars or planes flying, clear skies, birds out and less people out while walking today. And our government will send us money. Wow..no Force Fin sales, just hang around and enjoy the time off. Local store looked like the end is coming, but till then fround the perfect image showing the Power and Recovery of Force Fins. Cozumel, Mexico. You can see the final model in action...Santa Cruz Island, California Channel islands.Channel Islands Collection – Bob Evans Photography

Better get back on track, before I get into trouble....here is the final project.. " Reef Preserve Waterproof Trail Guide and map, La Ceiba Hotel, Cozumel, Mexico. (copyright Bob Evans). Now my Father and I were doing something special while on this trip other than testing Force Fin. I had learn from Dr. Lewbel and thought his ideas on reef management were solid..but I had some ideas beyound the Natural Reef Habitats...Man Made reefs, lke the ones we were diving on here in California.

Sorry, but I utterly fail to see the point or the relevance there, except it might be a good film to kill some time.
I understand..just got excited finding this film on line...

Ok here it is...Proud to be part of Dr. George S. Lewel project. One more thing before I move back to the Force Fin story..working on this idea of a book JMBL suggested..

Well, this was one logo design for Sea Park. I was scouting out locations for Cozumel, Mexico. Will share some of those ideas today, then back to Force Fin Histroy. Drawing by Gordon B. Evans
