Tried a forum search, no dice. Was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the Intova HD2? I just picked one up and looking for opinions on it.

It will likely be helmet mounted, and switched out with my Intova Connex. Higher MP than the Connex, deeper rating (depending on which literature you read). I am expecting similar performance overall. For those of you with way more experience, is this a reasonable expectation?

These videos are for me, and maybe short clips for family. Diving conditions are dark, cold, low vis.

Thanks a lot.

Post a pic of the camera, please. It may be the same one I have.

Hopefully these are clear.

Must be a later version than mine.

Too bad Into a went out of business. GoPro was too much competition.

I am getting them at a good price, and not spending hundreds of bucks. I should almost have enough cameras, that are good enough for what I do with them, to last me the rest of my life. This one cost me $12. Thanks for looking at the pics!

I spent $130 on my first one new while Intova was still in business. Lost that one a dive, got a replacement for $90 off eBay. I love that it’s so small.

Good luck with yours.

Sounds like a good camera option for setting up a 3D/Stereoscopic rig... I might have to look into these. How's the housing? How deep have you folks taken it?

I have an Intova hd edge x and just upgraded to a GoPro 8. Needless to say I'm disappointed. Yes the picture quality is better but the colors are worse in my opinion. Also I really liked how you could manually set the WB with the Intovas and you cant really change any settings on the GoPro once it's in the housing. My Intova worked great in the Great Lakes. I haven't had the GoPro yet up there.

I have only had my Intova Connex down to about 135' or so. Have been pleased with it so far.

You might take a look at the Edge X. 12 MP, and rated to 330'.

Intova is out of business so you’re limited in what you can find.
