Hi everyone,
May I ask if anyone know the value of this good condition vintage LP72 tank? This tank was full filled with labels then sat in garage for around 20 years. I recently opened the valve and still see strong air comes out steady. I don't see any flaw except flash rust on the bottom (refer to pictures below) and crack on the plastic backpack.
Thanks in advance.

Can you post a pic of the outside bottom with that boot removed? One way to do that is to take a piece of wood and a mallet and tap around the tank. Take your time and don't damage the tank. A steel 72 doesn't go for much around here but there is a lot of history in what you have...

(That boot has only one hole in the center is known for holding a lot of water.)

The plastic boot originally has 1 hole on the center and there are crack around it.

Nobody cares about the condition of that boot. What does the bottom of the tank look like? -the part of the tank that the boot covered?

Can you supply a clear close-up of the very bottom of the tank. The pic you supplied just doesn't quite do it...

oh ok, I thought you wanted to see the hole on the boot. sorry . Pic #3 has the flash rust on the bottom of the tank. If you want to see complete bottom, I can take more pic. Thanks

It’s the inside that matters.
