How to attach a pocket to a harness?

I'm new to the harness-style BC. I just bought a Hollis Ride, and I am trying to add a pocket I bought off of DGX. I can't figure out how I am supposed to attach it to keep it in place. So i added a triglide and D-ring to either side of it. Is this the best way ? See pictures.

That will work.

If you don't want the D rings sticking out you can use these

Another thing you can do is use a “book screw/sex bolt” and put a small hole through the belt and the strap of the pocket then insert the bolt.......I use a soldering gun to ensure both are melted so no fraying.

You can use the triglide on the loop directly. Usually, I do this without the dring. You can still use the dring, if you do, it will stick out from behind the pocket out the side along the belt.

Loop the belt webbing thru one side of the triglide, behind the belt loop on the back of the pocket, and back thru the other side of the triglide. The pocket belt loop is pinned to the triglide in the same manner as a dring would be. Repeat for the other loop. This has the bonus of the pocket not moving on the webbing.

what does "it" refer to in the second part? I'm imagining you have two tri-glides on your harness, then you thread a short piece of webbing through the pocket, and "lock" it into the tri-glides already on the harness?
