I wish there was always pineapple... or watermelon... but I've had cookies and wafers... Fresh fruit has always been the best.

The usual suspects in our part of the world are: banana, papaya, pineapple and water melon. Mango is quite rare because it is difficult to present as well as the general cost.
You can store papaya, pineapple and water melon over a much longer period than banana and mango.
On expensive boat or liveaboard then rock melon as well.
Most importantly, those are local produce rather than import.

Dip the pineapple in salt water before eating it.

I don't care what they may provide as long as I have my can of cola in my ice chest, with ...it doesn't matter....to go with it. That's what happens when you're life long addicted.

That's funny, because almost the only time I crave a Coke (or a Pepsi) is immediately after a dive. Anytime else, I usually prefer carbonated spring water or beer, depending on the situation.

Oranges/ pineapples are cheaper than beer? I think the rapid sugar boost help style a queezy stomach.

Was only served pineapple once on a boat, the other times was usually watermelon / melon

The most unusual snack that I have had a boat provide is ceviche from lionfish caught the previous day. :)
