I am extremely interested in starting to scuba and get certified. I am 61 years old and havent been in the water for several years. Is it too late to start, honestly? Should i spend the money on classes, gear etc? My spouse is negative toward me swimming but yet he wants to scuba and is certified.

No, it’s not too late. How is your health?

Hi Liz,
As long as you are in reasonable health, fairly active, and have the desire, go for it! We have certified divers of all ages here in SoCal..... I'm even getting up there myself

As long as you’re in decent shape and have the drive to get out there, do it! 61 ain’t even old get out there!
