Hi everyone -

I've found various bits of information online (including old ScubaBoard posts) about diving at Fishersville Quarry (Augusta County), Virginia, but most or all of what I've read appears to be five years old, maybe older. Does anyone have any recent information on access or conditions there?

Thanks....

Sorry to say but that Quarry is no longer open to divers. It will always have a special place in my heart as that was where I did my certification dives for open water.

I guess I was afraid that might be the case, but I'd only seen references to diving there, and nothing stating that is was closed. Too bad, since I am sitting in a hotel in Waynesboro and have friends coming into town tomorrow night with their dive gear....

...there is always Lake Phoenix...

Yes, thanks again. I know about Lake Phoenix as well as a couple of other places 2-3 hours distant... just was hoping for something closer to Waynesboro-Staunton. So it goes....
