Remember. The pass rate is 75% for EACH of the 5 sections. So you could pass 4 and fail 1 section thus fail the exam. As there are only 12 questions per section you don’t have a great margin for error.

Snorkel is supposed to be in the mouth.Which standard does this violate?
Snorkel is supposed to be in the mouth.
I can't find the wording for that in the standards. Can you help me on that?Snorkel is supposed to be in the mouth.
Out of 12 in my Florida IE, I didn't see any snorkels in mouth. Read the CD manual a few years back, didn't notice it as a skill requirement. Is that new?
Well, my CD did not have us do it at all. I have the standards up on my computer right now, and I am certainly not seeing it. If you are saying it violates standards, you should be able to cite the standard it violated.
So it does not appear in writing? It is a secret standard? So this is what I received from my CD:

That is what I was told during my Course Director Training Course. Additionally, other IE candidates have failed the skill circuit because of it. It’s an assigned problem if the skill is being taught in OW and Confined OW.
Does that help?
