"Common" is a bit of a stretch for, say, the mola mola, but yeah, dive there enough and you can see all of these creatures...

:)

There are 3 fish in the picture. The oceanic Mola Mola may not show up in December, but the other 2 cleaner fish, the emperor angelfish, are pretty common. They are in similar size as their Caribbean cousin's queen anglefish so you can imagine how big the Mola Mola was.

Bali has no decent descents.
You really shouldn't waste your time.

@seeker242 for good diving tour, it's more like northwest coast, like Menjangan or Gilimanuk (Secret Bay) . Tulamben, in northeast is better though.

I do like to stay in Mimpi - Menjangan Resort & Dive, Spa & Hot Spring in Menjangan Bali where the hot spring is piped directly to the jacuzzi in front the king size bed of the bungalow where I stayed with French door that opens to the Balinese-style private garden. A perfect setup for diving honeymoon arrangement.

As far as land tours, there are plenty of interesting sites to visit, such as the mother temple of Besakih, Goa Lawah, Goa Gajah, Uluwatu, Tanah Lot, etc. You can also visit the Monkey Forest, rafting in Ayung River, elephant ride. There are many traditional Balinese dancing tours that you can see like Kecak, Barong, etc. Basically, tons of stuff to do & see besides diving. Sunset dinner on Jimbaran beach is my favorite thing to do at the end of my trip.

Are we really trying to talk more people into coming to Bali? Sheesh....

(I should try more of the things you suggest though! ha!)

Let them come at the hot, wet, hustling, bustling & wrong time of the year. So you and I can enjoy it during the cool, dry, quiet & best time of the year :D

Nope.
Nothing to see there.
But, I'm going back to Bali for the 4th time in a couple of weeks just to make sure.
Many peoples would have written off a place after just only one visit but you are prepared to give Bali FOUR chances.
Good luck.
