It's a good device, it make a terrible noise when you use it on the surface, you really have to be deaf not to hear it !
(Yeah, I tried it in the dive shop the first time I mounted it on my bcd )
You can have a double one, with an alert for underwater, it makes kind of a "mump mump" noise, it's nicer than the shaker (imho) !

I just ordered one. The issue is that if the boat is in the distance with the motor running, it may be still very hard to hear.

Please let me know how you like after you have tried it in the ocean. One critical issue to evaluate is how easy/difficult it is to use the oral inflator for the BC with the device installed.

When I read that, I assumed that the 2 AI Computers were both working off and sync'd to a single transmitter. (I could be wrong though.)

Just how big and deep are the pools you are diving in? Seems a "little" over kill? I guess the military grade strobe and whistle could be useful for those unexpected pool emergencies, though:

Got it in one! If I keep the configuration the same at all times, everything looks/feels/stays 'familiar' and less chance of forgetting something that one time I REALLY need it!

The JOTRON military/NATO approved strobe can be used to deter a Russian attack.

Not exactly, 1st-stage 'left' HP port, uses XS scuba HP port-splitter (lower HP port gets Highland SPG/boltsnap on cool 'slim' lime-green HP braded 24" hose.......upper HP port gets wireless transmitter). Wireless wrist unit and dive watch worn on left wrist. Running Cochran Gemini AI wireless computers presently, planning to upgrade to Shearwarer wireless AI Perdix(s) soon.

1st-stage 'right' HP port gets 'hosed' AI computer (Atomic Cobalt/Oceanic Pro Plus) also clipped off on 24" cool 'slim' lime-green HP hose.

3rd computer (Cochran EMC 20H) non AI, worn on either right wrist or just clipped off to BC D-ring.

Seems a little much to carry these 3 computers (with 2 being AI) as, if the transmitter fails, you have the SPG for backup. Also, given the SPG, carrying the 2 AI computers is no benefit over just carrying the AI and non AI to cover computer failure. But... to each his own.

...and, yes, folks do come to me to borrow items/parts/tools on the boat when their stuff craps out...if I don't have something, you honestly don't really need it anyway!
