Looks like the usual crap to moi! Scattered-not a solid line and not blue-green. Divers report good to real good viz 20-40 ft with temps in the mid 80's. Pics shot after this morning's high tide, 8am. The stuff you see was left by an earlier HT.....

Hey in reference to our trip down in two weeks, is the algae bloom going to end up being a problem or this area or is it already?

Toss a coin.. your results will be as good as anybody's guess..
(me? I really hope not! I have a friend coming in from out of the country who has been wanting to dive the bridge for a couple years!)

We did our dive early Sat morning and it was fine. No signs of algae until the turn of the tide. Then a scattered, small amounts of pebble sized green algae could be seen floating on the surface. Low tide did bring in a green hued influx of water but otherwise a pretty good dive.

84 degrees decent ft vis - beautiful today, no green stuff... and my parking spot was literally right in front of the shower. First time ever.

What do you call those little crabs with the red and white stripes?

Pretty sure that's a banded coral shrimp

When I first started diving, my buddy told me those are candycane shrimp. I still catch myself wanting to call them that.. Says a lot about learning something wrong, and trying to correct.

LOL Jenny, I was told peppermint shrimp. SMH!

Here's a poorly focused shot of one I took on a night dive in the bahamas
