Liquivision is proud to introduce the new OMNIX-AI Dive Computer. The computer was shown at DEMA Orlando and received great feedback!

The OMNIX is an air-integrated computer, that will be compatible with the current line of U-2 and L1 transmitters. Similar to the Lynx, it will be able to use up to 10 transmitters in order to track their location and/or PSI within a 100m/330ft range.

The OMNIX has an anodized aluminum casing, which will be available in grey and blue upon launch. The body is slightly larger than our previous Enlightened Series and therefore offers a larger display. The screen is an ultra-bright transflective display, which means it can be easily seen in low visibility at depth or in direct sunlight on shallow dives and on the dive-boat.

It has two independent isolated batteries to offer the industry's first reserve battery system. The batteries are rechargeable via a standard micro-usb and small attachment clip.

Software layout has also been updated and is Bluetooth compatible.

The OMNIX is set to launch in Spring 2016. For further questions and inquiries please contact: info@liquivision.ca.

Very interesting. The option to recharge the batteries without opening a battery compartment would address a key criticism of the Lynx, given that is was also alleged to have rather short battery life (seems to be a common issue with big, bright light emitting color screens). Wonder how many dives/what time frame we're looking at on a single charge?

Richard.

We are patiently (or not so patiently :D) waiting for the Omnix to arrive at our store.

Will you be sending out a email blast or do I need to actually pay attention :)

any word on the estimated price point? I might need to start saving the scuba dollars now

If you currently have a Lynx could you use it with the Lynx together under one U2?

Will the screen go so dim that it becomes impossible to read after a couple of years like your dive enlightened series? Have you sorted out the clock? I am not looking at atomic clock precision but your dive enlightened models' clock is a joke (even with the calibration function!)

When will you have more info up on your website (ie different screen shots, more detailed description of the specs, etc)?

thanks
