Is it the Togian Islands you're referring to, not the "Tongians?" I'm betting the person to ask is Jerome Doucet, who owns and operates the liveaboard Paisabatu II. He and his wife also have a small resort somewhere in the Banggai or Togian region. He was doing regular trips in the Togians, but suspended them due to difficulty with shuttle flights. Togian Islands Diving in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, with Wallacea Liveaboards

You can listen to Anto, one of his dive guides, singing and playing the guitar. Though Jerome speaks and writes excellent English, he speaks French in the video and has someone doing a voice-over in English ...
Diving Indonesia with Wallacea Liveaboard : Togian Islands & Banggai - after Manado, Bunaken and Lembeh Strait
I think some group chartered the boat (10 divers) to the Togians last spring, like March or May. It was on his schedule page then.
Jerome is good about answering emails. Write to him at
wallacea@indosat.net.id and inquire. Maybe we should get a boatload of Coloradans and go! We've done an 11-day trip on his boat, and we're going again, to Raja Ampat, in February of 2012. And as it turns out, we're looking for people to come along an that trip too ... interested?
