Good conditions today, but its been raining hard off & on, so the viz could drop. Today had 20-30' in most places. A few jellies, but not like the man-o-war palooza that Jenny sang in a few days ago.

Anybody diving tomorrow that wouldn't mind a tag along?

Anybody Tue dive shops in the area open early? I just relizedni don't have a dive flag. Was planning on just going solo but would at least he good to have a flag.

Force-E is on the south side of Blue Heron Blvd just before the bridge. They'll be open early enough to rent a flag.

Heard the vis dropped quite a bit today...

I was supposed to dive the bridge this morning and at 6 my buddy called to say she had a migraine and couldn't make it.

I just smiled, turned off the alarm clock, and rolled back over til 10.....

For those of you who aren't slackers like me....how was the viz? Was Jenny's pet MOW around?

The dive calendar I read was off by an hour... Just the right amount to not compensate for Daylight Savings.

03/08/2015
Outside Temp. (9:00 AM) - 71F
Water Temp. - 73F
Vis - Milky 10-12 ft. max. (I'm 6'... If I hold my arm out and can see my hand, that's approx. 3'... Estimate double that is 6', etc. That's how I determined the vis)
Shore Dive Side - West
Reason for Dive - Test gear for the coming dive season and get in the water with my camera (It's been about 1.5 years since I dove with it)
Dive time: 1:35 (I exited at slack tide because I was cold... no wetsuit dive)
Time in: 9:22
Time out: 10:57

I would make the drive/dive if I were able to go tomorrow.

Well Tim, I made the trip and the dive. Vis was not so good most of the dive although it cleared up some right at high tide in some areas. Water temp was good, probably 73 I stayed in for close to two hours. More than anything it was great therapy after the week I had at work. Thanks for talking me into not skipping it[emoji1]

Heading to BHB from kentucky in early April. Any good place to stay for 2 nights? Have 6 of us and a pool at the place is a necessity. Any help is appreciated.
