I've had a crazy week, and not much time to consider myself a currency for a trip to the Philippines. We leave very late tonight. I'm reading that ATMs may be a problem in the Philippines. We land in Manila at 11 AM at terminal one, will take yellow taxi to terminal three for a 4 PM flight to Dumaguete, this Sunday. I'm going to try to go to a currency exchange place here in the city when I finish my job so we at least have a few hundred dollars with us, and our resorts (Atlantis Duma and Evolution Malapascua) take PayPal (!), and I believe the private transport we are hiring to reach them can also be included in PayPal paying at the resorts. I don't want to cut an ATM at Dumaguete at all, will be the currency exchange be open on a Sunday in terminal one, and most importantly, does it take for ever to get money there? We will be on a crunch for time. Will have US dollars as well, and I imagine I should get a money belt if I can.
