Somebody posted in a FB group that JAN 1st Lobo will be $20 a diver. Jeez two divers, plus a car fee, plus kayak fee... Plus reservation fee? Not sure, I been have charged different amounts at different times, with different explanations... This is not a cheap date anymore. Supply and demand I guess, maybe they will finally take credit cards.

I was told they are installing a new "CA Parks approved" payment system to replace PayPal that they once accepted. Maybe they are trying to recoup costs?

Yes, I stopped by the kiosk this last weekend and was told $20 per diver as of 1/1/15 so if you car pool with no boat/kayak it's $50 for a team of two to dive Lobos. Monastery is still free :D

There is no separate reservation fee. The 'reservation fee' is paying the divers (both) fees upfront. At least that is what is going on currently. Can't say I'm happy with a 100% increase in the diver's fee. Anyone know if the parking fee is going up? If the park really needs more money, increasing the parking fee by $1/car will bring in a lot more than doubling the diver's fee.

Seems more of a anti "I'll reserve it and then see if I want it" tactic to me.

just verified , yes it will be $20 a diver.. less diving there i guess.

well that's a shame, looks like I will be diving Monastery more often.
