So, I'm #3 on the waiting list. Couldn't post yesterday, I was too and then

Today I can say (almost sincerely) that I'm happy for the 74 of you with spots, and of course I don't wish anything bad to befall you.​

You just never know what can happen. This past Invasion there were 3 couples that had to cancel in the few weeks before the trip due to either one of them or a family member needing surgery. (And that's why they had trip insurance.)

It appears, that although I cannot attend the actual invasion, that I will endeavor to do a very nice FORWARD SCOUTING party excursion & RECONNAISSANCE on your behalf... Haviing just completed my first part of the scouting expedition this last weekend across the strait at Anilao, I am confident that there is going to crazy days of diving ahead for the invasion... so before you all get there, I'm going to get my pictures in clear water.

You can always arrange the trip yourself!! There are plenty of suitable places to stay and to dive with in both Puerto Galera and Dumaguete.
If you select the accommodation carefully you shouldn't be very far from Atlantis especially in PG(no more than couple of min walk eg. Asia Divers).

Air Bus 319/320 can take at least 180 but you are corrected if the plane is ATR 72-500.

You folks will have a great time! I was at both resorts last year and they were two of the finest, if not the finest, resorts I have ever visited. Food, staff, rooms, and diving were all fantastic. Staff knew my name before the day was over. I would highly encourage folks to do the trip over to Verde Island when you are at Puerto Galera. The dive there was like what you'd see in a National Geographic Special. I can't remember what the extra cost is but it's worth it. You go over and dive and lunch is brought over as well. I'm sure it can easily be arranged.

Also, we flew from LAX to Seoul Korea and then on to Manilla with Korean Airlines. Best airline I have ever been on by far. Highly recommend as well.
