Ok, so I've read and re-read a few books about diving and am getting a little bored. Anyone have any suggestions they thought were great that are not on the list below?

IANTD Technical Diving Encyclopedia
Deco for Divers
NOAA Diving Manual
U.S. Navy Diving Manual
Deep and Safety Stops including Ascent Speed and GFs
The Art of Gas Blending
Diving Below 130’
DIR: The Fundamentals of Better Diving
DAN Deeper Into Diving

==============
Shadow Divers
The Last Dive (edit)
Diver Down
Deep Descent
Fatal Depth
Diving Into Darkness
Complete Wreck Diving

Thanks and sorry, I know there are a ton of book threads,

Mike

Opps, I read that one too.

I thought you must have, being this much interested in diving books.

There is another book you may want to include, written by Verna van Schaik, who holds the record of deepest dive done by a woman. It is called "Fataly Flawed - The Quest to Be Deepest". This one I have not read and can't comment on, though.

By the way, is this thread in the technical diving specialties sub-forum because you only want books directly related to technical diving?

Diving Science - Michael Strauss, Igor Aksenov
I would highly recommend this book to you. It talks about diving in three parts, decent, bottom and ascent. Discusses what is happening to your body at each phase and what can go wrong and why. Offers a deeper understanding of what is going. The people I have told about this book so far have all had rave reviews.

Lippmann and Mitchell's Deeper into Diving. Neutral Buoyancy (can't remember the author). Clay Coleman's Certified Diver's Handbook. Setting the Hook by Peter Hunt.

Not only that I am interested in tech-focused works, but I figured it would keep the tourists out too. I added my "fun" books below the separator just in case I was missing out on some really great diving stories.

Lippmann and Mitchell's Deeper into Diving.

Got that one. Will check out the others, thanks! Same for Diving Science and Fatally Flawed.

Caverns Measureless to Man.... Sheck Exley

"Raising the dead" by Phillip Finch.
You might find this book under different name!!!!! So be careful!
