Hi everyone -

I'm looking for a photo of a rough file clam. It looks like this:
DSC03551.jpg

But this is a horrible blurry photo I took not even post worthy.

Can you look through your files and or make it a "mission" on your next BHB dive? I know there are some over on the east side of the east span - in all that pretty gorgonian.

Thanks!

Hey! I hope it's alright to post this here-
I'm in town for the month and don't have a problem getting paired up w/ buddies on boat dives, but I'd really like to dive the bridge a few times but I don't really know many people down here to go on shore dives with. If anyone ever needs a buddy for the BHB, my schedule is pretty wide open :) Or if I could even tag along...
I'm determined to see an octopus and stargazer before I go home to the cold in NY.
Thanks!
Jen

Tell the group when you are most likely to dive. That seems the best way to get a buddy.

Nice there today. Saw a couple eels, one very large.View attachment 178872

Was he on the snorkel trail? I got video of a large one striking at a fish. My video is uploading to YouTube atm.

I can pretty much dive the bridge any day except tomorrow...

Friday's night dive was awesome. I dove with mermaid0sea. Thanks for carrying the flag while I messed with my new DIY GoPro rig. I unfortunately lost a lot of video after the nudi as the GoPro locked up and required power cycling. We saw a lot of creatures which made the dive interesting. It's been awhile since a dive had that much going on.

I do agree with you though, that wasn't a frog fish. I'm struggling to ID the fish since I didn't get video of it. The more I look online, the harder it's getting to remember the details of the fish. The large eels were spotted and had a purplish head and greenish body.
