Can you help me decipher these markings?

Hey folks im trying to write up some info for the company i work for and need to figure out what all the markings mean on the 5 types of tanks we have on board!

Tank 1 up first

0.750 - 14 GC6 - 78453/04 LAB143B
DOT - 3AL3000 P154747 M4141 08A12 LUXFER
WC11.1KG TW14.2KG WP20.7MPA - AT15C TP 34.5MPA

From what little i know, DOT is a standard? 3AL3000 is the alloy? Luxfer manufacturer
We call this either a 12l or 75cf tank but not sure what its actual volume is by the WC or TW values, WP working pressure? TP @ 15C? and no nothing or the first line?

I would call that an aly 80

11.1 ltr capacity
working pressure 207 bar
test pressure 345 bar
 
0.750-14 = thread specs of the tank valve
DOT= US department of transportation
3AL3000 = Aluminum tank with a working pressure of 3000 psi (the rest of the letters/numbers are serial and model number) and Luxfer is the manuf
08A12 = manufacture date and original hydro facility 08= August A=is not an "A" but is the hydro facility's ID stamp, 12= 2012
tw 14.2= tare weight (empty weight) 14.2 kg
wp20.7 MPA = working pressure of 20.7 megapascals (3003 psi/ 207 bar) @ a temp of 15C
TP 34.5 MPA= test pressure of 34.5 megapascals (5003 psi/3450 bar)

In simple diver terms, you have an aluminum 80 made by Luxfer in August of 2012 with a rated pressure of 3000 psi that uses standard 3/4 inch valves.

But why do you and Mala call it an 80 and halocline call it a 77?

WC is ?? Wet capacity so, volume? so 11.1 KG of fresh water so 11.1l of air?
 
yea WC= actual volume measured by water capacity....which makes this a 11L tank
The actual capacity of the tank at rated pressure is 77cf but for whatever (marketing??) reasons its called an 80.....
 
The actual internal volume of this particular tank is stamped at 11.1 kg of water, therefore the volume is 11.1 liters or 0.392 cubic feet.

The pressure is 20.7 Mpa = 3002 psi = 204 Atm

The volume of available air in imperial units is 0.392 cu ft x 204 Atm = 79.97 cu ft.

Therefore, this cylinder seems to be an actual 80 cu ft versus many that are advertised as 80, but are normally accepted as having about 77 cu ft.
 
Let me add a couple of additional bit that have not been covered.

LAB143B - is a gas cylinder registry number for New Zealand (obviously for Luxfer)
M4141 - is a world wide manufacturer number.

78453/04 - ??? This may be a New Zealand agency spec. I am not sure
