Dived the site yesterday, Saturday the 9th. The poorest visibility that I've experienced in the last thousand dives. Could not see more than about a foot in front of my face, and swam headlong, (slowly) into one of the concrete supports on the east side. My companion, a well respected diver with vast experience said of the dive upon surfacing, "One Hundred Shades Of Gray."

Uh.. Ok.. may be rethinking a dive there tomorrow..
if anybody goes today, a vis report is appreciated.

I am visiting from Germany and would like to do some dives in Dec or early Jan, anyone else interested? Born and raised in Florida, back for the holidays. Pretty good at spotting critters, I dive with macro gear, but not gigantic DSLR.

Dive? Yes :-).
Just need more details as the dates get closer...

Thanks for the report.
Feel better about sleeping in.
Been twice when vis was like milk, called dive after 5 feet.
Will hope next weekend is better as we will go Friday or Sunday, conditions permitting .

I am probably going to be there if i can manage it on my way to the keys

I stopped by force E yesterday and vis went from 1' two days ago to 20' yesterday.

Were on for today!

Did our first couple of stints yesterday, pleasant surprise. Water temp probably around 80, and lots of stuff to see. In terms of Vis, we got about 20' at HT, on the second(in at around 3) it went down to 6-8'. Probably going again today; would it make sense to do the first stint earlier before HT?

I usually get in a hour prior to high tide and out around high tide through half hour after.
