Yep. Depends on how much shore time your barge allows. They really like to hold you hostage onboard as much as they can.

Using Cozumel time, not ship time, what time do you arrive and depart? If it's close to Halloween, their daylight savings time change is different.

The time on my itinerary is 8am on Sep 23rd and that is supposed to be local port time. Departure time is 6pm. Therefore I can't grab Aldora Divers 1st morning dive. They set-up a slightly later dive for cruisers. Frankly i'll be doing 4-5 dives on this cruise, a 1 tank dive ain't gonna kill me. I'm sure I will return to Cozumel again. Then I will override the wife.

ATV? Not ATM cave? Either way I get you.

What's ATM cave?

That's crazy talk. Two tanks is the standard. Seriously, the first deep and the second shallow are really different. I know my op would probably shift departure time for you as would others. Just feel a few you like out.

And what IS an ATM cave and why would you want to drive a cruise ship into it?

Good that you nearly get a full day, if your barge is not delayed arriving. Figuring 9-5 off boat after allowing an hour to get off and another to be sure you're back on in time, I'd go for a 2 dive trip if I could. Same gear, same logistics, not much more money if they have a 2 tank later trip - and still have half the day to see the town or whatever. Skip the ruins.

Actun Tunichil Muknal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It sounds rather interesting to me.

Holy wow. That does seem pretty cool. I need more vacation time.....
116 Km/72 miles from Belize city - a long day for a pod visitor. 571 Km/354 miles from PDC.

I've never crossed the border on land. Might take time & bribery, especially with a Mexican rental car. Rather close to Guatemala too, and all the countries have road banditos...!

I would make sure you set it up ahead of time. A one tank trip is 'special.' They generally don't run back to the marina between tanks, so if you set up a one tank, you may be stuck with a one tank.
