I have a small netbook that I download my pictures to from my DC800. I'm thinking about upgrading the camera and the netbook (to a tablet). The specs for the DC 1400 say it's compatible with Windows XP/7. Does anyone know if it can download to an Android tablet? How about Windows 8 RT? Most tablets that have an SC slot are micro SD, not full size SD/SDHC. So do you need a micro-usb to micro-usb cable to connect the the two?

You want a windows 8 tablet....the RT nonsense means you will never have compatibility with the programs you can run on a PC. With the full windows 8, you could run Lightroom or even a video editing program. Why waste the money on something that can never really get the job done?
