i have that set up the only difference i have is i have the quick release buckles on the shoulders which makes it easier just take your time with the ajustments it takes a while to get used to the backplate & wing but they are simply the best!

the dive rite deluxe harness with quick release very cozy easy to ajust as well

Recommend you check out the Backplate and Wing rigs at Deep Sea Supply. These are excellent rigs at an excellent price and instructions on how to set them up properly is supplied by Deep Sea Supply. I've got a single tank steel backplate and 20lb. wing setup from Deep Sea Supply
that I really like. High quality stuff a fair price IMO.

Being on the tall side myself I'm gonna grab a DSS rig. I had a standard Dive Rite SS BP and a Tech Instructor commented it was to small for me. Tobin can seem like a PITA at times, but I take it as him wanting you to buy right the first time. But other gear like DR, Halycon, Hog etc are just as good.

Thanks so much for these links, found the UTD one pretty informative as far as gear explanation goes.

Mine should be coming in the mail any day! Saving this thread!
