Thinking about the reasons for not buying something used I came up with: safety concerns, price difference does not make it worth, aesthetics, hygiene. (Any others?)
The most obvious reason for buying something used is: make a better use of your money. Although you can think of others, such as helping a friend out or owning a model you particularly like but is no longer being produced.
A simple question: what equipment you wouldn't recommend buying used and why?
And since we are here, why not: what equipment you would recommend buying used and why?
Assume money is not abundantly growing in your garden.
