Red, white and deep blue water... Plans for the fourth of July

Anyone planning some shore dives for the fourth? I thought it might to fun to hang out with the fireworks after along the coast.
Been a while since I have been able to get in the water and the reports are looking favorable this week for Vero Beach, Pepper Park areas. Anyone had the luck to do any shore diving this week and want to report? My plans are possible Pepper Park am the 4th and Friday the 6th and do Vero off Riomar for Saturday afternoon. I have to be in Fort Pierce down by the Marina by 3pm both early days so want to hit water first thing in the am.

Quick update, just got a message from another vero diver. Pepper Park had 3 foot viz due to algae and thermocline was running. Consensus appears to be to try Wabasso for Weds.

My GF and I are planning to snorkel from the Deerfield Beach pier to the Boca Inlet. North DB Ledges, Turtle Reef, South Inlet Park and everything between.
We're going to be at the beach all day and want an unlimited about of time in the water (reason for not Scubaing).

On Sunday the vis was great! We planned on going from the North DB Ledges to Turtle Reef (.5 mile apart), but in between the two reefs, we found a turtle stuck in fishing line with a hook in its flipper. We were able to cut it free, catch him and bring him to shore for proper care. Saved a Sea Turtle Today! | Sink, Florida, Sink!
