I did two shore dives at Fort Pickens last week. Vis was 5 to 15 feet. Fish and invertabrate life there was amazing. The highlight was a seahorse. You can view photos at Fort Pickens Photo Gallery by Carol 202 at pbase.com.

When you come down to the Keys this winter, you need to make a point of diving BHB on the way in or on the way out.

Thanks Chug. I have a week reserved at Jonathan Dicknison State Park when we leave the Keys because it is the closest one to BHB. I scheduled it for late Feb/early March when the tide changes are minimal and sunlight is good. Of couse, I would also love to do a night dive or two if the dive shops are sponsoring them at that time. I understand Force E does night dives there all year.

Great pics. Looks like you had a great dive. Ft. Pickens is a great site, lots of sea life and excellent logistics for a shore dive. It's a great training site, but more than that, it's just fun. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
