I think you should change it back so that idoc can keep bumping your thread to the top and you can keep being gracious and responding with additional info about your op and even humorous mocking comments about the self appointed court jester. I'll resist the urge to grief-pile on Idoc and just say that anyone who's ever met Gary knows, for a fact, that him pulling a "bait and switch" is like Paris Hilton pulling a 747.... with her teeth....

It's just not happening.

Gary's a great Captain and runs a clean operation. Certainly on my top 3 charter list.

Who has hurt you you with misleading advertising in the past? Gulf Diver's original and subsequent posts couldn't have been more clear. It's a chance to win, in exchange for a sign up. Clear cut, above board and a generally accepted incentive form of advertising for a business. Wal-Mart gives you a chance to win a gift card in exchange for taking a survey on every fifth cash register receipt. What's the beef? As pointed out, every time you hammer him again, you boost the post. Your call, promote or not.

A chance to win a free dive trip is not a "free dive trip".

Deceptive promotions like this always make me add the advertiser to my list of "businesses I won't give my money to".

Gary just likes to dive and take people diving. Promoting an area that you love and has been tarnished by circumstances beyond our control is a great thing. Getting paid to do it is a bonus. We're not gonna come throw rocks at you while you're mowing so STFU.
