Greetings fellow cavers!
Wow it has only been a week since I was cave diving and I am already depressed!
Why would anyone leave such beautiful diving? I must return soon or break down and move!
I encountered an outer ear infection towards the end of the week but even though it was hard to go home to 30º to 40º temps!
I missed my wife and kids but would love to move closer to cave country very soon.
Any businesses booming that are hiring in the southern area's?
I may have to just reside myself to monthly trips for a while.
One thing is certain OW is nice but I find myself missing the caves almost every dive!
Take care friends and safe diving!
CamG Keep diving....Keep training....Keep learning!

I know how you feel. I am missing my first weekend in three weeks.

It's been seven months since I've seen a cave . . . but it's only 12 more days until I get to do it again. And I'm sure a week after I'm home, I'll be feeling the same way you do!

I hear what you're saying. It's only been a week since I was in Cave Country & I'm having severe withdrawals:shakehead:. To rub a little more salt in my wounds, I'm only 3 dives away from reaching #500. The light at the end of my tunnel, is that it looks like I'll be going back down to cave country at the end of this month!!:D

Hi Cam,

I understand what you are saying :). I’ve just been in the cenote cavern zone and a little way into caves so far. But, since my return mid July, a day hasn’t passed without a twinge of painful longing to return to those exquisite liquid filled chambers.

I cant resist anymore -- have to go back. So flying south in just over a week.

But, somehow I doubt diving the centoes again will fix this feel. I’m pretty sure I will just come home to our 51F 10-25ft vis OW diving with even a worse affliction of cave blues -- and a stronger longing...

But the fun is sooo worth it!!!!!

I moved to the caves... it was just easier that way.

FWIW, its in the 30sF here last night, and for the next few nights too. Its hard to escape the cold.

No it's not! Just gear up and get in the spring water. It's twice the temperature it was last night in the caves! :D I'll be in the caves the next 3 days!

Made it to Jackson Blue Springs for two dive last Friday and it was nice to get in the water as it was warmer than the air temps!!!! A dry suit keeps sounding better and better :D.

Luckily I will shake off any cave diving blues as I will be back at the Mill Pond this coming Friday as well.
