Halcyon Quick-Adjust crotch question

I have the quick-adjust crotch strap...I have it adjusted ok, but I'm sort of special when it comes to webbing/buckles etc. I'll post the question here in case others are special like me.

How is the quick-adjust crotch strap...quick? If someone could walk me through the adjustment process that makes this quick I would appreciate it. I have the original crotch strap to compare to.

Perhaps "quicker" would be a better term, since it depends what you're comparing it to

I think I figured it out based on a few hours of studying and drinking (4) tall Godfather drinks. 50ml Jack, 50ml Amaretto (Disaronno), topped off with Coke Zero on the rocks.

Looking at the setup trying to keep my eyes straight...

The part of the crotch strap that goes through the BP on the underside and then comes out...it goes through a silver thinga ma jig to keep it in place....actually I also keep it in place with the rubberbands once it comes out of the silver thingie.

I think its this part of the whole contraption that you adjust to make it quicker.

I'm shooting some video of it (the infinity in action) which will show the crotch strap being adjusted. I'll try to get it up later this week.

with regards to adjusting whilst in the gear, i actually DID adjust it yesterday whilst standing on beach when I realized i hadn't tightened it up to go from drysuit to 3mm. it was quite easy to do for me but that could be cause i'm kinda small. It would be a bit funny looking but i can also change the length or have my buddy change the length underwater if need be. it is that simple
