It looks like at least one of the sharks is tagged by its dorsal fin. I may be wrong, though. Check out the last few seconds of footage.

Okay, was he on a SURF BOARD the second time he went out, when he was HOPING to find them? A kayak or other small boat I could understand, but not a surf board. What would stop one of them from grabbing your foot, for instance, or keep you from falling into the water?

Since they're checking out the board, they're evidently curious about it. It seems reasonable to figure they might be desiring food. And even at those 'modest' lengths, they look stocky and powerful.

The pole he mounted the camera to looked like a paddle, but apparently he was on his board.(nuts)!

Shark joke:
Two great white sharks swimming in the ocean spied survivors of a sunken ship.

"Follow me son" the father shark said to the son shark and they swam to the mass of people.

"First we swim around them a few times with just the tip of our fins showing." And they did.
