The Revillagigedo archipelago, best known as “Socorro”, is located about 250 miles nautical attractions south of Cabo San Lucas, in Baja California. The complete isolation of this archipelago in the middle of the Pacific has favored the concentration of great marine life that has become one of the must-see destinations of diving from around the planet, only comparable to Galapagos (in fact, it is also known islands such as the “Mexican Galapagos” or the “little Galapagos”) or Cocos Island, for the encounters with pelagics and large species. We can find among them a great variety of up to seven species of sharks (hammers, silky, galapagos, white tips, silvertips, Pacific longimanus, tigers), giant Pacific manta rays (especially on the island of San Benedicto, the best place in the world world to enjoy with these animals), humpback whales (January to April) and dolphins. We must not forget the whale sharks and the large schools of carangids and tunas, as well as endemic species that can only be sighting in Revillagigedo.
