No kidding, judging by some people, scuba equipment has been perfected and there is nothing to improve unless it's been ordained by a higher authority. It'd be a sad world if people like Cousteau thought the same thing and never bothered to try new things.

Placed an order for a pair to try out in the pool to add resistance when I swim laps. Once I get comfortable with them, I'll try them out on a few dives and post some feedback.

utter rubbish, another useless gimmick

Now that sounds like a great use for them! Let us know how they work please for each type of stroke.

As I said above I have seen people use something similar for surfing.

For hunting underwater they might work well since most solo dive and need to change directions quickly.

Do tell.

When I dive, I do not hand my fins to the boat crew, nor will I climb a ladder with fins on. If there's no tag line out, I find myself in a position where I want to stay near the boat but don't want to hang on to the ladder while removing my fins.

What I plan to use these gloves for is more safely and easily reaching and boarding the boat and nothing else. I don't currently swim with my hands during a dive and don't plan to start just because I now have gloves with webbing between the fingers.

Yeah, do tell but you go ahead. I would buy a pair for a Creature from the Black Lagoon Halloween outfit, beyond that I doubt it. I do have some Speedo Swim paddles, I drilled with with .5 inch holes and then added six ounces of lead to each for lap swimming. Don't think they would work so well for anything else but now, gloves with webbed fingers, who would have thunk that up :rofl3:.

I have gotten a Pair of these gloves and they do work very well. For me in a colder area Don't get to really use them but i do see good uses for them. Besides what others have mentioned I think they would be great for surface swims, For me my legs get tired wxtremly quick while surface swiming and I find myself using a combo of my hands/legs to get to where I needed to be and these gloves for that help a lot. Then simply switch to my other gloves and the Darkfins in my pocket. Anyone can find any product useful in different situations. During the dive I do not use my hands either but there could always be a situation as mentioned above to warrant the use. I would never completly write off a poduct unless I have personally tried and and could state I have absolutly no use for it and it would not work for me. Thanks again Roy for sending the Gloves.
